Bouvard Cruises is happy to introduce you to the official "Mandurah's Dolphin Blog" where we will share with you all of the sightings and encounters we have on our cruises with Mandurah's beautiful wild dolphins. You will find photo's, movies and information on the many dolphin encounters we have on our cruises in and around Mandurah and hope that this information helps raise awareness of Mandurah's wild dolphins. You too can see Mandurah's dolphins, they live just 1 hour south of Perth in Western Australia.

SuperCat 12pm Lunch Cruise
Capt Kat & Kim were doing their regular lunch cruise,
We had 13 passengers on board, One passenger was having his birthday with his daughter and her friend, They surprised him whilst on the boat.

Half way through the cruise heading in we encountered a pod of 7 dolphins being very dormant and having a rest. We then spot 2 more heading out towards the estuary, they jumped into the wake of the boat, rode the waves whilst leaping and jumping! Putting on a show they do big belly flops to the delight of the passengers, who were clapping and cheering, it was just amazing, the dolphins were frolicking and jumping all the way with the boat to the entrance of the inlet.

We then turned around heading for home base and the dolphins came with us again, but this time they just surfed the huge waves created by the 'SuperCat' and a boat full of guys fishing and cruising parrallel with us. The dolphins loved it! As did our passengers, plus the birthday boy had a great cruise and a dolphin experience he'll never forget!
