Latest Dolphin Sightings from Dancing Dolphin

A total of 58 dolphin sightings for Dancing Dolphin for the week, combine that with the 31 sightings from Super Cat and that's an amazing total of 89 dolphin sightings in one week.


Monday 28/3

  • 12.25 - 2 Mother & Calf in front of Mary Street Lagoon
  • 1.05 - 5 riding the bow waves heading towards the estuary bridge
  • 2.20 - 4 swimming in the marina with one calf

Tuesday 29/3

  • 12.30 - 3 in Mandjar bay diving for fish
  • 12.45 - 3 in the canal homes
  • 1.00 - 1 at waterside near wetlands chasing fish, plus put on a good show!
  • 2.50 - 1 along the wall in the canal homes

Wednesday 30/3

  • 12.15 - 1 trying to catch fish on a wall going into the marina
  • 12.40 - 6 Pod of 6 males going towards the Peel Inlet, followed us towards the old bridge
  • 1.00 - 4 males followed us for a bit then got bored and turned around the other way
  • 2.15 - 1 just swimming around near yellow marker in the mariner entrance

Thursday 31/3

  • 10.05 - 5 dolphins exploring Mandjar bay
  • 10.25 - 6 including on calf chasing fishes along the marina rock wall

Friday 01/4

  • 12.30 - 4 Dolphins near Rolley Tasker’s home heading out to Mandjar Bay

Monday 4/4

  • 12.45 - 12 Dolphins very playful, some feeding close to the Creery Wetlands area, 3 baby dolphins amongst the big group
